Jesus called Herod a “fox.” That was not a nice or cute name. Foxes were considered pests that came into the vineyards and orchards and ate the early fruit before it could be harvested. 

Foxes are small animals, about the size of a house cat or a small dog, yet a fox is capable of doing terrible damage. They burrow and chew in a vineyard until the vines wither and become unproductive. They also eat the tender shoots of the vines. They are sly and sneak around day and at night, and the farmers don’t always see them doing this to catch them. They can ruin an entire crop even before it starts to bloom! Many fruit farmers to this day hire falconers to come and bring their falcons to fly over the fruit groves to find the foxes with their keen eyes and fast moves to hunt down the foxes and destroy them. 

What did Jesus mean then to curse Herod with calling him a “fox,” Herod’s father was the one who ordered to kill all the baby boys under the age of 2 when Jesus was born. Herod, the son, wanted to disrupt Jesus’ ministry and killed John the Baptist, thus coming against the move and fruit of the Holy Spirit. 

Spiritual foxes work through people and influences and usually are around us and our children when the enemy wants to devour the fruits of the Holy Spirit that are just beginning in us. This is an important understanding we must have, and we have to be vigilant.  

If I see a fox in nature or in a dream I know it’s a sign to pray this prayer. 

After you’ve been in the Courts of Heaven for your family and done land assignments in your city/state/region repenting for the sins and pouring the blood of Jesus in the land, there is no cause for a curse. It cannot operate anymore, but you have to stay vigilant. You have to be a watchman on the wall for everything in your life. You have to watch for those sneaky foxes, and then ask God to render judgment so that your city, your state, and your family and children can bear good fruit.

It’s the sneaky spiritual foxes – evil spirits – that can work through influences around them  – that want to come after the early fruit of the Holy Spirit in your life, in your children, in your family and marriage, in your schools, and in your city and state. 

Pray Out Loud

  • “Father God, I’m asking you, according to Your Word in Matthew 3:10 and also Song of Solomon 2:15, to go and judge the bad fruit in this situation _______. Take Your ax of judgment and chop at the root every evil influence at  _______. Chop out, root out, pull up at the roots, leaving neither root nor branch nor any of the bad seeds nor any of the bad fruit, not even a leaf! Root out their unholy, ungodly influence, and cast it into the fire. They will never have any influence over _______ ever again! Judge it, Lord, according to Your Word, in Jesus’ name!

 

  • “Father God, in its place, I ask you to plant Holy Spirit-filled influences in those areas in _______. Let revival for Jesus Christ arise. Raise up Your prophets, teachers, and evangelists in _______, in Jesus’ name!”

Pray Out Loud

  • “Father, thank You for Your word that teaches and guides us how to pray for our children and marriages. By faith, we know that You want us to bloom and prosper and produce the fruit of the Holy Spirit from walking in our divine purpose and having a close relationship with You, Lord.

 

  • “Father, I am coming to You today decreeing and standing upon Your word in Song of Solomon 2:15, ‘Catch for us the foxes — the little foxes that ruin the vineyards — for our vineyards are in bloom.’

 

  • “Father, I can clearly see that there are sneaky little foxes in the spirit realm that are stealing the fruits of the Holy Spirit that my loved one, _______, is meant to produce in their life. My loved one, _______, is gifted and anointed by You, Father, to fulfill their calling in life and to come into a full relationship with Jesus Christ. My loved one, _______, is being hindered by those foxes that are trying to spoil their fruit and the branches that connect them to Christ, who is the vine.

 

  • “According to Your word in John 15:5, Jesus said, ‘I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.’

 

  • “In the name of Jesus, I ask that Your Hunter and Trapper Angels be released on behalf of my loved one, _______, to hunt and trap those foxes that are coming against Your will and Your plans for their life. I ask that these Hunter and Trapper Angels go now to catch every single sneaky fox that is operating in and around my loved one, _______, and send those foxes far, far away from my loved one, _______, forever!

 

  • “I decree that those sneaky foxes will never come near my loved one again and will never be allowed to touch their fruits of the Holy Spirit ever again, in Jesus’ mighty name! Amen.”

Recently, the Lord also brought me to Judges Chapter 15 and revealed yet another prayer strategy to get rid of the foxes in our prodigals lives by burning them up! 

“Samson, angry at the father of the Philistine woman he married who gave her to someone else (Judges 15:1-2), decides to get revenge. He catches 300 foxes, and then in pairs, ties their tails, along with a small torch, together with a cord. Then he lets them loose among the Philistine farmland. This causes, not only the recently harvested crops, but also that which was yet to be harvested to be consumed by fire (Judges 15:5).” https://www.biblestudy.org/bibleref/meaning-of-numbers-in-bible/300.html 

He’s saying to set those foxes on fire and destroy their wicked fruit. God will bring His holy fire and catch the spiritual, demonic foxes in the lives of the prodigals on fire, and those foxes will flee and destroy the wicked fruit.

So we can ask Father God to take revenge on the enemy and the enemy’s agenda against our children that has caused them to go prodigal – to destroy the enemy’s fields and their foxes with fire. 

Pray Out Loud

  • Father God, in Jesus’ name, I ask You now to send Your holy fire to burn up the foxes that are coming against the fruit of the Holy Spirit in my loved one, _______, and to destroy the fields of the enemy. My loved one, _______, will never be in the fields of the enemy again! I ask you to reconcile _______ back to Jesus so he/she will walk with God for the rest of his/her life. Thank You, Father God, for hearing and answering my prayer!

What Gives A Cause For A Curse and How To Remove It Forever!

God is merciful, but it’s the enemy that brings debt and brings attacks against your blessings, health, family and finances. It’s the enemy that brings delay in your blessings, health, family and finances. What gives him a legal right to do that? Your sin! Your un-repented sin. It’s not God that’s delaying your blessings and breakthroughs. It’s not God that’s holding back. 

It’s your un-repented sin that causes it – bottom line! And the enemy (the accuser in Revelation 12:10) uses it as a legal right (our sins)  against believers, and then he goes and starts assigning demons to it. 

This is why repentance is the greatest gift we have. We get to repent. Repent, repent, repent, repent! Even if you’re not sure, repent.  I love to repent! I see breakthroughs every time! Repentance and the blood of Jesus is a free gift for each of us! Thank You Jesus!

Proverbs 26:2 – “Like a sparrow in its flitting, like a swallow in its flying, a curse that is causeless does not alight.” 

Meaning, the little sparrow that is flitting around alights or lands on something, so curses cannot land on anything that is causeless. A curse must have a cause to land on something. What gives a cause for a curse? Unrepented sin. 

Once we repent to Father God for these specific sins, and we ask Jesus to put His Blood on these specific sins, the Blood of Jesus makes the sin null and void, therefore any curse attached to that sin becomes null and void, causeless!  No place to land, that curse and it’s demons must flee!

If we have repented and there seems to still be attacks or no breakthroughs, we have to keep enforcing the blood of Jesus Christ and reminding the devil (the accuser) that his curses cannot touch us because of the blood of Jesus Christ that covers us, he has lost his cause and legal rights and must cease and desist.  Or we have to go again to Father God and Holy Spirit and ask if there are any sins that we have not repented from or sins in our family bloodlines that are still giving a cause for a curse.  I call that “targeted repentance”.   I do that as the Holy Spirit reveals. But here is a prayer to get you started removing the causes for curses. 

Pray Out Loud In Sincere Faith and Humility:

  • “Father God, any sins that I, my spouse, or anyone in either of our family bloodlines have knowingly or unknowingly committed that are giving any cause for a curse, I confess them and repent for them right now. I ask for the blood of Jesus Christ to cover all of my sins that would give a cause for a curse. Any sins that I don’t even know about that would give a cause for a curse in my lifetime, in my spouse’s lifetime, in my children’s lifetime, and in the lifetimes of our ancestors going all the way back to Adam and Eve – any sin that they did unknowingly that would give a cause for a curse today, I repent for these sins right now, and I ask Jesus to put His blood on them and mark that curse null and void and any demons that are assigned to it null and void. Father, I ask You for grace, mercy, and forgiveness right now. I ask, Father God, that you will now bring a blessing in its place, in Jesus’ name. Amen!”

 

Note: I also highly recommend to go into the Courts of Heaven to fully remove any generational sins that may be strongholds, such as addictions, and other repeated negative patterns you see happening in your family.  You can do the Courts of Heaven Prayer Here.

I learned this from my dear friend and mentor, Jeanette Strauss.  She said she was at a conference and was in a prayer line, and the person going down the prayer line started speaking things that gave her a check in her spirit. She did not want to agree with that person’s words and did not want him touching her, but she was stuck in the line and could not step back.  She asked the Lord Jesus for help, and He said to her, “Ask ME to be a filter!” So she did! Since then, I have used this strategy many times, for my day and also for any impromptu situation. 

Below is the long version of the prayer. The short version is at the end.

Pray Out Loud

  • “King Jesus, I invite You to be a filter between me and everything today, and specifically in this moment of time when I am doing this ______________. I place everything in my life, my body, my soul, my spirit, and everything I do today in Your precious blood. I have on my whole armor of God! I am sealed in Your righteousness, and I have on my whole armor of light. I am clothed in Your peace. The glory of God is my covering, and the favor of God surrounds me as a shield. 


  • “I receive good reports today because You are with me. Lord Jesus, You have redeemed everything in my past, present, and in my future! You, Lord, are manifest, present, and in authority over all things in my life, moment by moment! I have absolutely no fear, only faith!  Lord, You come when I ask, and You will not leave me. I am inviting YOU, King Jesus, to stand between me and everything today and particularly this situation ______________. I believe You are here right now, Lord, and I feel Your presence. Thank You, Lord Jesus Christ! I love YOU and ask this Faithfully, in Your name, and I know YOU are here for me right now, Lord Jesus. I am not alone! You are standing between me and everything!  


  • “The devil must bow the knee and nothing by all means shall harm me nor any evil touch me! The demons tremble in fear and cannot go through You, Lord Jesus, to get to me! You, Lord, are my shield and my filter with every person, place, or thing that I encounter today! So be it. Amen.”

Short Version: Pray Out Loud

  • “Lord Jesus, I invite You to step into this moment of time and be a filter between me and _______. In Your name, Lord Jesus, I ask. Amen.”

Note: Yes, it is permissible and even encouraged to pray directly to Jesus in Christianity. Jesus is both God and man, and the New Testament provides examples of people praying to him directly. The belief that prayer is primarily directed to God the Father, through Jesus as the mediator, doesn’t preclude direct prayer to Jesus.

Here’s why:

Scriptural Examples:The Bible contains examples of individuals praying directly to Jesus, such as Stephen who prayed, “Lord Jesus, receive my spirit” (Acts 7:59).

Jesus as Mediator: Jesus is described as the mediator between God and humankind (1 Timothy 2:5-6), and he acts as our high priest, representing us to God.

Praying in Jesus’ Name: While we are encouraged to pray in Jesus’ name, this doesn’t mean we shouldn’t also pray directly to Jesus.

Jesus’ Authority: Jesus has the authority to hear and answer prayers (John 14:14).

Direct Communication: The Way, the Truth, and the Life – John 13:13-15
…13 And I will do whatever you ask in My name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If you ask Me for anything in My name, I will do it. 15 If you love Me, you will keep My commandments.

Jesus is the Son of God, and we can communicate directly with him as a friend and guide.

In summary, praying to Jesus is a valid and encouraged practice within Christian faith, supported by scripture and theological understanding.

It’s the ungodly-unholy influences that are the “bad trees” bearing “bad fruit” that want to attack of the “good influences” and “good fruit” of the  Holy Spirit in your life, in your children, in your family and marriage, in your schools, communities and in your city and state. 

After you’ve been in the Courts of Heaven for your family and done land assignments in your city/state/region repenting for the sins and pouring the blood of Jesus in the land, there is no cause for a curse. It cannot operate anymore, because the sins have been repented and the Blood of  Jesus is now covering it all- but you have to stay vigilant. You have to be a watchman on the wall for everything in your life and over your community. You have to watch for those bad influences around your family and your community that are not bearing good fruit, and then ask God to render judgment according to His Word in Matthew Chapter 3 verse 10 to remove those bad influences quickly and replace them with good, Holy Spirit filled influences so that your city, your state, and your family and children can bear good fruit abundantly in their lives and in your community.  This can be also prayed over your local governments and school boards!

Prayers and Decrees Against Witchcraft – (as spoken by Annamarie via her broadcast – this is an edited transcript)

( Even more powerful to speak while taking communion. See my communion prayer on my website to confess your sins first. )

My friends, understand when it comes to invoking the name of Jesus Christ and the Power of the Blood of Jesus while holding up the communion, this is a prophetic act of faith that enforces the power of the Blood of Jesus over that curse!  It is written Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed [is] every one that hangeth on a tree: Galatians 3:13 | KJV – therefore when we invoke the name and the authority of Christ and come into agreement with His finished work on the cross and the power of His shed blood – we are reminding the devil his legal rights have been removed from any curses – this is called the authority of the believer and we can enforce what Jesus did on the cross and the power of His blood that destroys the curses and cleanses us – Jesus told us to use our authority and be reminded to take communion to remember what He did for us.
I will tell you I take communion to receive the body and blood of Jesus, and to repent of my own sins, and I have also been led by the Holy Spirit to include this prayer against curses while holding up the Blood of Jesus!  I have seen miracles in my own life and others.  Jesus said we would know it by its fruit. I encourage you to not put God in a box and realize how much we can enforce the Blood of Jesus against the devil.  The Israelites had to “apply” the blood of the lamb – hold it up over their doors so that the curse of death would passover them and not touch them. We are doing the same by faith of holding up the communion. Revelation 12:11: “They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony…” We are testifying to the power of the Blood of Jesus as we hold it up in faith against these curses.
We can enforce the name and the blood of Jesus Christ without taking the communion with these prayers but I have found it to be much more powerful.  The devil and his demons only respond to AUTHORITY in Christ and they are helpless against the BLOOD of Jesus.   It’s also important that you yourself repent to God for any witchcraft or occult sinful activity you have ever done and ask Jesus to cleanse your sins with His blood before you pray these prayers.
PRAY OUT LOUD:

“I proclaim by the authority of Jesus Christ and by the power of the blood of Jesus, I  enforce the BLOOD OF JESUS over every curse of witchcraft that has been sent to harm me, my household or my children – In the name of Jesus Christ and by the power of the Blood of Jesus I renounce all witchcraft curses. I take authority over them in the name of Jesus. I break the power of all witchcraft and all witchcraft curses in the name of Jesus and by the power of HIS BLOOD!  I command all witchcraft and all witchcraft curses to be canceled, dismantled and made null and void in Jesus name. I place my life in the BLOOD OF JESUS and enforce the blood of Jesus Christ over my life and my household! I place my children in the BLOOD OF JESUS and enforce the blood of Jesus Christ over my children!  Lord Jesus release the power of Your Blood over me and my household and children right now, Lord Your Blood breaks all curses and demonic assignments!  Father God, in the name of Jesus send your HOLY FIRE to burn up to ashes all witchcraft spiders, spider eggs and webs in Jesus name and replace it all with your HOLY SPIRIT LIVING WATER AND ANOINTING!  I proclaim the word of God that a curse causeless cannot light! Therefore all witchcraft curses have been made causeless by the Blood of Jesus right now in Jesus name!”

Command from your Seat of Authority in Christ!

“Bow the knee to Jesus Christ, all you witches, all you warlocks, all you witchcraft curses, all you witchcraft incantations! I enforce the blood of Jesus Christ against you! Bow the knee unto the Lord Jesus Christ! Kingdom of darkness, I take authority over you in the name of Jesus, in whom I am seated in the Name above all names, King of Kings Jesus Christ!   I remind you now Kingdom of Darkness you were defeated at Calvary by the finished work of the cross of Jesus Christ. I enforce the blood of Jesus Christ against you right now, kingdom of darkness! Be now helpless against the blood of Jesus Christ. Bow the knee to the Lord Jesus Christ NOW, in Jesus’ name. Witchcraft curses cancelled null and void, causeless in Jesus’ name, by the power of the blood of Jesus. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Lord. 

I proclaim right now in the name of Jesus that in place of witchcraft, everywhere in place of witchcraft, shall come the fire of the Holy Ghost in Jesus’ name. Holy Ghost fire, Holy Ghost fire, Holy Ghost fire be released against all witchcraft and anywhere where witchcraft is operating, in the name of Jesus! Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Jesus. 

Let the power of the fire of the Holy Ghost come upon everyone that’s practicing witchcraft. Oh, Holy Ghost fire, come upon everyone that’s practicing witchcraft—so hot, so hot, so hot. Bring them to their knees. Put them on their faces before Jesus Christ. Release repentance into them—a free gift in Jesus Name!  Holy Ghost Reveal their savior to them, Jesus Christ!  They shall cry out to Jesus to save them and He will hear their cries and bring them out of sin into salvation in Jesus name!

In the name of Jesus, I proclaim that everyone who has been practicing witchcraft on any level, that the fire of the Holy Ghost is upon them right now burning up every remnant of witchcraft and driving that individual to their knees and on their face into repentance to the Lord Jesus Christ, crying out to Jesus, right now. So be it, in Jesus’ name.”

Personalized Prayer:

“In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth and by the power of HIS blood, I speak to every curse of witchcraft that’s coming against  ( ____  ) right now—any curses of witchcraft that are coming against the life, blessings and divine purpose of  (____), every curse of witchcraft that’s coming against God’s plans for (_____), every curse of witchcraft that’s coming against (_______) t0 be canceled and dismantled by the Authority of Jesus Christ right now, in the name of Jesus, in Jesus’ name!  I close the door to any and all witchcraft curses coming against (_________) never to come near them again and I seal those doors with the blood of Jesus and cover (_________) in the Blood of Jesus Christ!”

Add communion to this prayer:

Prayer against witchcraft while taking communion: While taking Communion, apply the blood of Jesus over your own life and your loved ones. Declare while holding up your communion: (See: How to pray over your communion at home).

“By the Authority of Jesus Christ and by the Power of the Blood of Jesus, I renounce, cancel and dismantle all witchcraft, sorcery and curses off me and my loved ones now in Jesus name! King Jesus I invite you to come and redeem us from all curses and wash us with Your Precious Blood! I now invite the Holy Spirit to come and fill the places the witchcraft, sorcery and curses have vacated and Holy Spirit please stand hold forever in us and around us! Pour out your peace, blessing and presence upon us Holy Spirit! Holy Spirit be a wall of fiery protection around us from all evil and be the glory in our midst from this day forward in Jesus name!, Amen!”

 

Declare over our Godly leaders:

“By the Authority of Jesus Christ and by the Power of The Blood of Jesus, I renounce, cancel and dismantle every curse of witchcraft and sorcery that’s been sent to harm God’s prophets, leaders and teachers right now, in the name of Jesus and by the power of the blood of Jesus Christ. I close the door to every curse of witchcraft and seal it in the blood of Jesus. Holy Spirit, come and fill every prophet of God with a greater anointing,  and place more Angels of the Lord around them to protect them in Jesus’ name!

I speak to every curse of witchcraft that’s come to harm God’s people and our children, every curse of witchcraft that’s coming against the intercessors of God, to go right back to the place from where it was sent, right now, in the name of Jesus. I close the door to all witchcraft curses and seal it in the blood of Jesus Christ.

Holy Spirit, I ask you to come upon every person that is interceding and praying to God, every intercessor, Lord, let your Holy Spirit come upon them and give them a greater anointing, favor and answered prayer, in Jesus’ name.  

Father, in the name of Jesus, I ask you to release more angel armies on the earth and around your people. In the name of Jesus, I ask for more heavenly hosts and more of your angels and more special forces armies of God to come right now into the earth and destroy every unholy, ungodly power and principality that’s been operating in the earth. Bash it; trash it; kick it out; drag it all out to the uninhabited dry place. Bind it; shackle it, and imprison every unholy, ungodly principality for it no longer has power to remain, in Jesus’ name. 

Father, I ask you, by the power of the blood of Jesus Christ, to send your special forces angels, your arresting angels, Father God, to go and arrest any remaining demonic principalities that are operating in the earth. Bind them; shackle them; cage them up; drag them to the uninhabited dry places where they will stay until Jesus Christ comes and tells them where to go, in Jesus’ name. Close the door to them and seal it forever like Joshua did with the evil kings, with the despots. You had Joshua take the despots out of the promised land and seal them in a cave and burn them. We stand upon that right now, in the name of Jesus, that you, Father God, are doing the same right now for us, in the name of Jesus. 

Father, raise up your holy, godly, anointed leaders. Give them favor, favor, favor. Give them more angel armies to fight for them. Oh, defender of Israel, Archangel Michael, raise up an even mightier army. More, God; more, God; more angels to fight alongside Archangel Michael for Israel, for Israel is forever. God’s plans and purposes shall prevail in the land of Israel. Jerusalem is God’s darling, God’s jewel. Let the plans and purposes of almighty God go forth for Israel and Jerusalem, oh Archangel Michael, defender of Israel. Destroy the enemies in your wake. Destroy them beneath your feet! Trample them with your angel armies. Nothing shall come against God’s people. Nothing shall come against Israel, in the name of Jesus. Thank you, Lord. 

Father God, you had us study the book of Zechariah. You’ve told us what you’re doing with the spirit of wickedness. You’re taking that vile spirit of wickedness and putting it into a basket and sealing it with a heavy talent of lead and making the demons take it out to a special place you have for it where it will stay in exile forever. Wickedness shall never bother your people again. This is what we want, Father, and we want it right now. We ask for it in the name of Jesus, Father God, for you to take that vile spirit of wickedness that has been operating in the earth, according to the book of Zechariah, stuff that spirit of wickedness in that basket that you have and put that heavy talent of lead on it. We ask you to crush the mouth of wickedness and seal it in that basket with that heavy talent of lead and, just like it says in the book of Zechariah, that you will have the demons take out their own trash and put them all in that special place you have for them where they will stay until Jesus Christ comes and tells them where to go, and that wickedness will never bother us or your children again because this is the time of your glory, God. 

 This is the time of the outpouring of your Holy Spirit upon all flesh. Your sons and daughters shall prophesy. This is the time of the billion soul harvest for Jesus Christ. This is the time for the preparation of the bride of Christ without spot or wrinkle. Raise up your teachers, your prophets, your leaders, oh God. Raise up your evangelists. Revival, revival, revival, restoration, renewal—let the fire of the Holy Ghost ignite over the United States of America and over every nation thereof, in the name of Jesus. Blow the victory trumpet of the Lord. Yahweh has fought for us. Yahweh is victorious. Jesus Christ is Lord and king of all the nations. So be it, in Jesus’ name. “
