Prayer To Receive Holy Spirit Fire and Boldness!

Prayer To Receive Holy Spirit Fire and Boldness!

Transcription of the teaching and prayer that the Holy Spirit gave to Annamarie Strawhand, which she delivered during her broadcast of Life in the Faith Lane on June 13, 2025. Watch the video, and then follow along with the prayer and impartation below.

At Pentecost, when the disciples received the baptism of the Holy Spirit by fire, they also received the gift of speaking in tongues, but what else did they also receive? They received the Spirit of Boldness. Are you baptized in the Holy Spirit? Have you asked for the baptism of the Holy Spirit? When you ask for the baptism of the Holy Spirit, you also ask for the Spirit of Boldness, that same boldness that was on Peter, the disciple.

If you want to receive the Spirit of Boldness to be able to preach the Gospel unashamed and have the Holy Spirit within you giving you the right words to speak at the right moment, reach out your hands and repeat this prayer with me.

Pray Out Loud

  • “Heavenly Father, Almighty God, I come to You today asking, in the name of Jesus Christ, for the baptism of the Holy Spirit in an even greater way with the Spirit of Boldness to come upon me and the power of the Holy Ghost, the baptism of true discipleship, the same baptism of Your Holy Spirit of fire and boldness that You gave to Peter and the disciples in the upper room.

  • “In Jesus’ name, I ask right now in faith for this. I want and invite the baptism of fire of the Holy Spirit to come upon me and in me right now. I receive it. Holy Spirit, I love You. I want You. I invite You. I receive You. Holy Ghost fire, fire, fire, burn in me! Burn off all the chaff, all the fear, and all the worry. Anything that is not of God, be burned up in me.

  • “Holy Spirit, I want more of You, as much as I can stand! More, Holy Ghost! More, Holy Ghost! Fire, fire, fire of the Holy Ghost! More, more, more, Holy Ghost! Holy Spirit, I love You. I want all of You. Thank You. Thank You, Jesus, that You made this possible to receive the fire and the infilling of the Holy Spirit burning in me, unquenchable fire!

  • “Right now, I ask, in Jesus’ name, for the Spirit of Boldness from the Holy Ghost to come upon me. Spirit of Boldness, overtake me to speak the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. Holy Spirit, give me utterance. Give me opportunities with absolutely no fear. I speak in boldness. I speak the words of the Holy Ghost. I can do all things through Christ who strengtheneth me. I walk in the light and the glory of God. The glory of God is my covering. The favor of God surrounds me as a shield. Father, you give me divine appointments, angels of the Lord all around me keeping charge over me. I speak with boldness and with fire!

  • “Your word, God, is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path. Your word is stored up in my heart! You’ve given me eyes of understanding, and I speak the truth everywhere I go and people receive it. Give me my one every day, Father God, that I am to speak into, Your words. Help me recognize it. I thank You for this, Father.

  • “I feel the fire of the Holy Ghost upon me. I do this in love. Father, open my eyes to see as You see, to see as Jesus sees. I receive the gift of the Spirit of Boldness. I receive the gift of the baptism of fire of the Holy Ghost. I receive the gift of the utterance of the Holy Ghost and speaking in tongues. I receive the gift of being the beautiful feet that bring the good news of the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ everywhere I go, and people receive of it. Father God, I thank You for this today.

Impartation

And such as I have, I impart onto all that are here to receive of the Spirit of Boldness, the same Spirit of Boldness that You gave Your disciple, Peter, in the name of Jesus Christ. Receive it right now, in Jesus Christ’s name! Hallelujah.

Biblical Insight: Baptism and Our Sanctification Process

Biblical Insight: Baptism and Our Sanctification Process

This is an excerpt of the Life in the Faith Lane broadcast on Wednesday, April 12, 2023, where Annamarie Strawhand answered a viewer’s question.

Question: “If baptism washes away our sin, why then do we have to go into the Courts of Heaven so that we can remove the legal rights the enemy has to be present in our lives? Asking for a friend that argues this.”

Annamarie’s Answer: “Because baptism doesn’t wash away your sins. The blood of Jesus does.”

Watch the video below for the complete answer and see the notes that follow.

Notes

  • Baptism alone does not cleanse your sin.
  • Paul led the people to repent of sins, receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior, ask Jesus to wash their sins with His blood, and then get baptized in the water again in the name of the Father, Son, and the Holy Ghost.
  • Water baptism releases the old man, old self, into the water and you come up with your new self. It’s the beginning of the sanctification process.
  • Water baptism means you have committed to come into the covenant to have your sins forgiven as they’re revealed to you.
  • When you receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior you come into covenant with God, into His kingdom realm. Jesus Christ comes to live inside of you, but your soul is still filled with soul wounds. It’s still filled with the legal rights of the demonic.
  • When you “get saved,” you get the blood of Jesus to begin the sanctification process. It’s the beginning. You get Jesus to come in and take over your spirit man.
  • Satan, the accuser, stands in the courts of Heaven day and night, night and day, accusing the brethren (of their sins).
  • Satan has the legal right to accuse “saved” people of their sins because they haven’t gone through the sanctification process.

Scripture References

“‘Then what baptism did you experience?’ he asked. And they replied, ‘The baptism of John.’ 4 Paul said, ‘John’s baptism called for repentance from sin. But John himself told the people to believe in the one who would come later, meaning Jesus.’ 5 As soon as they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.” (Acts 19:3-5)

“And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.” (Revelation 12:10)
