Jennifer, please make a note for tonight‘s prayer that we need to pray the ax of judgment. The Lord is showing me some things while Mike and I are out, and also we need to ask the Lord for legions of angels to come upon the state of Virginia and for each angel for each district and each voting location that those angels are released, and if any angels of the Lord are bound in Virginia and any city in any region that we cut the chords to release them – angels of the Lord. Lord is showing me some things that we need to do that we need to ask for Archangel Michael

We ask the Holy Spirit to move upon their hearts,  give them a sense of urgency, cause them to stop what they are doing, make the time to show up and vote! We decree that every distraction and hindrance is removed, making the way clear for them to take their stand and cast their vote in this hour!

We declare and decree that the results will be 100% accurate with no manipulation, interference, fraud, or deception. We ask Father God to EXPOSE any hidden agendas, or darkness, and we pray that the true voice of the people be recorded and honored without compromise! The plans and purposes of Almighty God will prevail in the state Virgina, in this great nation, and all around the world! In Jesus mighty name!

Faith Lane Team 2: AMEN!! Thank you, Father God, for this new day and this new week to serve you and to come higher and go deeper with you. Please lead us every step of the way in all that we say and do by your precious Holy Spirit who lives within us. Help us to walk in love and fierce obedience and to fulfill everything that is written in our destiny scrolls. I touch and agree with all the prayers of Annamarie and each member of this wonderful team today as well as the prayers of King Jesus, and we thank you in advance for breakthroughs, deliverances, signs, wonders, miracles, and victories, and that we’ll be getting these good reports coming from every direction, in Jesus’ name!

Faith Lane Team 3: Do you know if Virginians are voting on the  Virginia redistricting amendment this election?  I have been praying it would not pass!! 

Annamarie Strawhand: I was at the post office and while Mike was in there I was praying and the sun came out on my face and the heart of Father God was speaking to me to declare over Virginia like a daughter 

Faith Lane Team: Yes, the vote is tomorrow. Praying their gerrymandering plot does not come to fruition in the name of Jesus Christ!

Annamarie Strawhand: Also, tonight there is something I want to ask Father God to expose and reveal and bring justice at Virginia Tech. With the paraglider slamming into the jumbotron. The breaker has come, and I discern something major is about to be exposed that has been hidden for a time. I know Virginia Tech was one of the first campus shootings there and other strange things. I am not sure if we had a land prayer assignment there or not? 

Freemasonry has indirect ties to Virginia Tech, primarily through local history and influential individuals, rather than direct university affiliation. Historic Hunter’s Masonic Lodge No. 156 has existed in Blacksburg since 1856, while prominent figures like former VT President Julian Ashby Burruss were active Masons. Additionally, the FFA, which has roots at Virginia Tech, was founded by a Mason, Henry Groseclose, and its ceremonies bear Masonic influences.

Key Connections and Context:

Hunter’s Masonic Lodge No. 156: Founded in 1856, this lodge on Roanoke Street in Blacksburg is a long-standing fixture in the community near the Virginia Tech campus.

Julian A. Burruss: As the 8th president of Virginia Tech (formerly Virginia Polytechnic Institute), Burruss was a member of the Rockingham Union Lodge.

FFA Foundations: Henry Groseclose, an agriculture teacher at VPI, designed the FFA (Future Farmers of America) constitution and degrees with structure similar to Masonic degrees.

Architectural & Cultural Ties: While not affiliated with Virginia Tech specifically, local Freemasons (as seen in the George Washington National Masonic Memorial) often emphasize links between architecture, education, and moral development, noted in general university architecture.

Local Lodges: The Grand Lodge of Virginia oversees hundreds of lodges across the state, including the one in Blacksburg.

While some student organizations or secret societies may exist on campus, they are distinct from the fraternal organization of Freemasonry.

Henry C. Groseclose was born on May 17, 1892.[1] He lived in Ceres, Virginia for most of his life.[1] Groseclose completed his junior college degree from Washington and Lee University in 1917.[2] In his later years, he also received his bachelor’s degree, as well as his master’s degree, in agricultural education from Virginia Tech.[2] While Groseclose was an agriculture teacher at the Virginia Polytechnic Institute, he, along with three other agriculture teachers, Walter Newman, Edmund Magill and Harry Sanders, decided to establish a club for the farm boys in the school. The organization was formed in 1925.[1] Groseclose named the organization the Future Farmers of Virginia, or FFV for short.[3]

The original meaning for the abbreviation FFV stood for the First Families of Virginia.[3] The “first families” referred to the families of both George Washington and Thomas Jefferson.[3] Referring to Washington and Jefferson, Groseclose once stated that, “The Future Farmers of America should follow the example of these great sons of early Virginia by using scientific knowledge, intelligence, and enthusiasm to the end that agriculture may again be known as the profession of the real aristocrat.”[4] Groseclose wrote the by-laws, as well as the constitution that the FFV would be based on.[3]

In 1926, he also wrote, and brought into play, the formal ceremony that would take place as an organizational pattern to structure each meeting.[4] Two years later, in 1928, the FFV became a nationwide organization. This developed the organization that is known today as the Future Farmers of America, or The National FFA Organization, or just FFA for short. The by-laws drawn up by Groseclose became the foundation of the newly national organization.[3] Also, the formal ceremony that Groseclose developed was taken on by the FFA as a national ritual that is still used today.[4] Groseclose was a seventh degree Grange member,[4] and he was also involved with the Masons, so it was no surprise when he developed levels of memberships for the FFV, which transferred through to the FFA, that were similar to the three leveled membership structure that the Masons uses. These three levels included the Greenhand, the Virginia Farmer and the Virginia Planter.[3]

While the official emblem of the National FFA Organization was being drawn, Groseclose’s original emblem, which he hand drew himself, was highly considered and ended up playing a part in the emblem that is still the emblem of the National FFA Organization today.[5] The part of the emblem that was from Groseclose’s original drawing included a background setting of a half plowed wheat field with an owl perched upon a spade of wheat in front of the field.[5]

Groseclose served as the Executive Secretary of the National FFA Organization for two years between 1928 and 1930.[1] During his time as Executive Secretary, he announced at the national convention of 1930 that he had written, and would be releasing, an official FFA manual, which outlined the organization, procedures and structures of the National FFA Organization.[6] Groseclose also served as the Treasurer of the National FFA Organization for 11 years, between 1930 and 1941.[1] 

In September 1925, Groseclose set his expectations for the members of the FFV, and the purpose of the establishment of the Future Farmers of Virginia was by saying, “In my opinion the farm boys of Virginia who are enrolled in vocational agriculture are equal to any other group of boys in the state. But somehow the boys themselves seem to have a feeling of inferiority. Especially is this true when the farm boy goes to the city and has to compete with his city cousin. This condition should not exist. I believe that a strong organization of our boys in agriculture would help them to overcome this handicap. Let’s form an organization that will give them a greater opportunity for self-expression and for the development of leadership. In this way they will develop confidence in their own ability and pride in the fact that they are farm boys.”[7] Groseclose died on June 4, 1950.[1] In 2002, the Department of Historic Resources established a marker in Mr. Groseclose’s honor. It is Marker number KC-5 and it is displayed in Bland County of Ceres, Virginia.[1]

Annamarie Strawhand: I prayed that these farmers would come out of the FFA and be affiliated with good support programs founded by President Trump and Farmers are only in ONE HOLY COVENANT WITH GOD!

Faith Lane Team 2: OMG!!! What a HUGE revelation! Thank you, Holy Spirit!! Every school district in this country has an FFA chapter, I’m pretty sure. I don’t know about colleges/universities. Wow, they were so cunning to get in the schools and get the farmers involved unknowingly. Do we need to go back in the COH for the farmers for a target repentance of involvement with FFA? 

Annamarie Strawhand: I asked Father God to come before His Courts to repent for myself and my earthly father involvement with the FFA, ask for grace, mercy and forgiveness and cancel, rebuke, annul, and come out of agreement with all covenants and agreements with the FFA and Freemasonry. I asked Jesus to put His blood on all of it and for myself and my family line to be released of all curses and consequences of that sin.

If anyone was in the FFA, or their parents, they should also renounce it, and they can do the prayer to renounce freemasonry and add the FFA part that I have on my site

Many organizations and clubs are rooted in Freemasonry.  Including the Fraternal Order of Police, the Rotary, The Moose, KKK and FFA, Shriners, and even certain religious denominations.

Why is Freemasonry evil? Top level members take oaths to lucifer/Satan and swear allegiance to him and add curses to their families if they do not abide by the oaths.  The curses and demons automatically attach to them and the families because of legal rights of the demonic and going against the word of God, Satan, the accuser then uses these unholy covenants against us and our children in the courts of Heaven.

Thank You Father God that we are in one Holy Covenant with You through Your Son Jesus Christ!

That’s why it’s powerful to take communion often, because every time you do, you are confirming your covenant with God through the Blood of Jesus!

I just finished a prayer call with our Virginia Intercessors to pray for tomorrow’s election, and it was powerful we went into the Courts of Heaven. I have a peace and faithful expectation for God to show His glory in a big way for my state of Virginia!

My team is putting together an outline to be able to pray this way for each state for you all! We learned a lot and received fresh revelation.

Faith Lane Team: So the European Parliament Land Assignment in Brussels was MAJOR! The Lord had me look it up. They represent all 27 nations for the entire EU!

The European Parliament in Brussels represents 27 nations, which are the member states of the European Union (EU).

While the Parliament has offices in all 27 capitals, its main “power centers” are in Brussels, Belgium and Strasbourg, France.

These countries have agreed to “pool” certain parts of their sovereignty so that the Parliament can make decisions on laws and budgets that affect the entire union:

Mike and I went and voted – signs there of 66 and wake up and 11:11, and the lady that was the honorary witch of Pungo was there at the polls that are held in the all-purpose building of Oak Grove Church, and there was a mockingbird on top of the building. I prayed and enforced the Blood of Jesus, forgave everyone there, and asked Father God to forgive them and move everyone to the throne of Grace and Mercy by the Blood of Jesus. I prayed for grace and mercy and enforced the blood of Jesus. And then the lady that was at the machine where you put in your ballot, her name was Anna Marie, two words, and I said that mine was Anna Marie, two words, and then I realized, no, my name is Annamarie, one word. So, I discerned that it could be a spirit of discord. I did not remember that my name is one word until I got home.

I am discerning God is speaking here something about He is waking up Virginia and bringing everyone to repentance. I discern there is warfare over the polling places, and the enemy is trying to bring discord, division and confusion.

We need to send the Hosts of Heaven over every polling place in Virginia 

Faith Lane Team: Should I pray the prayer to remove discord off of the polling places in VA?

Faith Lane Team: Asking Father God to send the Hosts to every polling place!

Annamarie Strawhand: Heavenly Father, Almighty God, in Jesus Christ’s name, I come before you, and I repent, cancel, and annul the words I said to that woman named Anna Marie at the polling location near the voting machine! Her name Anna Marie was two words, and my name Annamarie is one word! Therefore, I have nothing in common with her, and I rebuke and cancel all my words to her in Jesus’ name, and I place my words in the blood of Jesus Christ. I rebuke, cancel, and annul any spirits of division. I rebuke and cancel any spirits of discord. I rebuke, cancel and annul spirits of witchcraft! I rebuke, cancel, and annul mocking spirits. 

My name, Annamarie, is one word. My vote today was a clear no, and I placed my vote, my ballot, and my husband‘s vote and ballot in the blood of Jesus Christ! Father God, I ask you to have grace and mercy right now for everyone in my polling place today at Oak Grove Baptist Church, and I place it all in the blood of Jesus Christ! I ask you, Father, to have grace and mercy on me, Father God. And, Father, send Your heavenly hosts and warrior angels over every polling place. Your angels will bind and cast out every mocking spirit and bind and cast out spirits of division. 

Release Your holy fire, Father God, to burn up every seed and spirit of discord and witchcraft right now, in Jesus’ name! Father God, bring your clarity, your unity, Father God, your blessing, your grace and mercy, and awaken the people to the truth, in Jesus Christ’s name. Amen and amen!

Faith Lane Team: Father God, we ask You to send Your Heavenly Hosts and Warrior Angels to every single polling place in the State of Virginia – to go on a search and destroy mission and smite down every plot, plan, or attack of the demonic!! Bind, arrest, shackle, cage up, and drag away every spirit of discord and division! Lord, send Sentry Angels of the Lord to stand guard and protect the true vote of the people! Protect them from all discord and division, and help ensure they will vote righteously!! We declare and Decree that Virginia belongs to Almighty God, and it shall be used for His plans and purposes! Lord, we enforce the blood of Jesus that has been poured at the capitol in Richmond, Virginia, and we enforce the blood of Jesus that has been poured all across the entire state! The blood of Jesus Christ is speaking a better word over every other word! VIRGINIA WILL HAVE THE VICTORY TODAY! Their gerrymandering plot will FAIL in the name of Jesus Christ!

I come into agreement with all your prayers for Virginia’s freedom and victory at the polls today! The Blood of Jesus is the highest authority, and it is now speaking over every polling location in Virginia today! 

Glory to You God! We speak the name of Jesus Christ over each location and decree that all demons and their helpers, evil plots and schemes must bow to the knee at the name of Jesus!

IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF JESUS CHRIST, LET THE ANGELS OF THE MOST HIGH GOD COME NOW TO EVERY POLLING PLACE IN VIRGINIA AND BIND THE CURSES OF WITCHCRAFT AND BIND THE MOUTHS OF EVERY WITCH AND WARLOCK SPEAKING CURSES. EVERY CURSE CANCELED AND DISMANTLED IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST AND REPLACED WITH A BLESSING AND THE ANOINTING OF GOD!

I did have a good sign from the Lord when I was praying outside and sounding the shofar, a school bus went by my house number 17! 17 is victory of the overcomer in Christ!

Father God, I accept your sign of the number 17 that Virginia has been redeemed by Jesus Christ and those in Christ Jesus have overcome the schemes of the enemy and we have the Victory! Thank You Father God for the sign of Your Faithfulness!

The state of Virginia will not be divided! The state of Virginia will not be gerrymandered! The state of Virginia is beloved by God and belongs to Jesus Christ! The state of Virginia is healed and whole and shalom in the name of Jesus Christ forever!

I touch and agree with all of your prayers over this ministry, our households, and all of these prayers of repentance for division and discord over the state of Virginia, in Jesus’ mighty name! Thank you, Father God, for your grace and that you are fighting for us!

Faith Lane Team 3: When I went outside to pray and blow the shofar my clock read 12:22, and when I finished praying and decreeing over Virginia my clock read 12:44. Virginia is going to have new beginnings, closing of ungodly doors, and opening of new godly doors! Thank you King Jesus, you hold the keys to every door in the state of Virginia! 

Thank you Father God!!  Thank you Holy Spirit!!! 

Annamarie Strawhand: Father God just sent a little red headed sparrow by the window and on my little bird bath as a sign of confirmation for the victory with our votes today! I asked for a red bird today for a sign of confirmation! 

He was just there for a few seconds but that was enough! Thank You Father God!

Then as I was declaring the same scripture a red bird came and landed in front of me! That was a second sign of confirmation of our prayers being heard and fulfilled! I don’t have any bird feed out this season! I have not seen many birds in my yard, but God sent the confirmation because I asked for a red bird!

I am at peace because I trust in the Lord and He has confirmed that He is Here in Virginia so it does not matter what the polls say!

The Lord God will prevail and bring justice in Virginia!

I saw the voting, and “no” was ahead all night. Then, at the last few minutes, “yes” swerved by a point! Then I saw pythons all over the results! The Lord shows me clearly it’s a python spirit, and we must ask the Lord to come and smite it down!

Breaking! WTKR TV 3 News: Tuesday’s referendum may not be the final word. The state Supreme Court is considering whether the redistricting plan is illegal in a case that could make the referendum results meaningless.

A Tazewell County judge ruled that the redistricting push was illegal for several reasons. Circuit Court Judge Jack Hurley Jr. said lawmakers failed to follow their own rules for adding the redistricting amendment to a special session.

He ruled that their initial vote failed to occur before the public began casting ballots in last year’s general election and thus didn’t count toward the two-step process. He also ruled that the state failed to publish the amendment three months before that election, as required by law.

If the state Supreme Court agrees with the lower court, the results from Tuesday’s vote could be rendered moot.

Faith Lane Team: This is a very fast-moving situation today, April 22, 2026. Following the special election yesterday, a judge has indeed stepped in with a major ruling regarding the constitutionality of the process.

The Current Ruling (April 22, 2026)

A judge in Tazewell County has just issued a ruling declaring the Virginia Redistricting Constitutional Amendment (which voters approved yesterday) to be invalid and unconstitutional from the start.

The Decision: The judge ruled that the General Assembly did not follow the proper constitutional procedure to place the amendment on the ballot. Specifically, the court found that the special session used to pass the amendment was outside its legal scope and that the state failed to meet “postage and publication” requirements for public inspection before the election.

The Injunction: The judge has issued a permanent injunction, preventing state officials from certifying the results of yesterday’s vote or taking any action to implement the new congressional maps.

The Result: For this exact moment, the “Yes” vote from yesterday is legally blocked.

It’s legit, it really happened. I had to double check to make sure.

WOW THIS PROPHECY IS HAPPENING NOW!

This was spoken to me by the Lord on April of 2021: “Wow, I’m feeling the anointing strong. Oh, my gosh. Okay. We’re about to see something very historical. Literally, it’s going to cause history books to be rewritten and new history books to come forth, and God is already gathering up his new writers, his new scribes that are going to be writing this.

That he’s taken, he stripped the evil doers of their, uh, any authority they have in their pens. We’re about to see history. Get your pens ready. The Lord is showing me himself speaking to crowds, and his disciples writing down what he spoke. He’s showing me disciples with their, their scrolls and writing this and scribing it. It’s a discipleship. Even those who are writing the true history, it’s a discipleship to the Lord. This is how important the scribes are and the writers are.

We’re about to see history. We’re about to see something major happen—to get ready; to write it down. The history books are going to have to be written. He has stripped the evil ones of any authority they have in the pen. What, whatever they try to sign or whatever, the evil ones, it’s not worth the paper it’s written on.

You know, I asked the Lord about that. I a, I’ve been asking him about that. I’ve been praying into that, and I kept, he kept pointing out the geese to me and again now. The geese. Holy Spirit is saying, “Those evil ones, their goose is cooked. This, uh, those evil and wicked ones, their goose is cooked.” They’re done.

We’re about to see history. Get ready to write it down. Get ready. Scribes, get ready. There’s somebody here that has been saying, “I want to write a history book. I want to redo the textbooks. I want to redo real, real history, real American History. How do I, how do I research it? How do I …”

You are being called up right now. He’s going to show you geese for confirmation. I don’t know who this is, but this is for maybe one or two or more of you. Wow, I feel so much excitement in the spirit realm. I feel the cloud of witnesses jumping up and down in excitement. I feel the  excitement of the kingdom of God. I feel excitement in the spirit, like we’re about to see history. Get ready to write it down.

Interesting and seems prophetic as God speaks through sports to me a lot. I have studied and taught on the book of the prophet Zechariah, and we are definitely in the timing of Zechariah or another spelling “Zachariah” and the “Branch” meaning those who are in Christ and in Jesus Christ’s authority in the earth! Look at the name of this football player: “Zachariah Branch” chosen by the Atlanta Falcons! This is pointing to something major! 

Now, I discern God Himself is pointing to something Biblical here with that player named “Zachariah Branch” getting chosen to the Atlanta Falcons team, because in The Bible Zachariah, the prophet saw a time coming, where the “Branch” would come, and everything would be given to the “Branch” that rightly belongs to the “Branch”, and that is us as believers the kingdom of God, those of us that are in Christ Jesus! We inherit the earth, Right! Jesus is the “vine”, and we are the “branches” and together we produce fruit for the kingdom of God in the earth! Now is the timing for those of us who are in the kingdom through Christ’s authority. We take it by force. We are an end-time army of God! Plus, did you know that Falcons are used in vineyards to kill foxes that eat the early grapes, and what do the foxes represent? The foxes represent the demonic powers and principalities that want to devour the fruit of the Holy Spirit!! I have prophecies about Atlanta. I have prophecies about revival for Jesus Christ taking over Atlanta. I have prophecies about the falcon that shall come and destroy the fox, and the fox is the fake news. CNN is in Atlanta!!! God is connecting the dots here, my friends. Wow!!!

This all points to Jesus Christ’s return as we are servants of the Lord preparing for His return!

Zechariah 6:12 “6” is the number of “man” and “12” is the number of the perfect government of God in the earth. ANNAMARIE: “He (The Spirit of the Lord) says, the Spirit of the Lord says a new sound, a new energy is coming, and it’s coming swiftly. The lights go out in Georgia. We had a word that the lights are going to go out in Georgia and come back on, and we had that word several months ago. But now he’s saying to me it’s more than Georgia. The lights go out in Georgia, meaning George Washington, Washington, D.C., right? A, a, at the, at the, uh, root of our government, the lights go out and come back on. The power grid redone for the good. 

And you know what he showed me? He showed me that prophetic dream that I had about the waffles. I had a prophetic dream several weeks ago, and in that dream, John F, John Kennedy Jr. was in that dream, and he was sitting at a table eating waffles. And he told me to get honey and pour the honey on his waffles. And I remember he held up his waffles, and then he told me to pour the honey on his waffles, and he said he had his dessert fork. He was waiting for the sweet, and the Lord said to me, “Annamarie, did you not notice the shape of the waffles? They are a grid.” I’m like, “Oh, my gosh, yes, Lord, waffles are shaped like a grid.” 

And he said to me—this is the word of the Lord—he said, “There’s a new energy coming, a new sound. The lights go out and come back on. The power grid.” He said, “Look at the dream that you had about the waffles. It’s a grid.” He said, “I am pouring the sweetness, the honey, on your power grid.” I was like, “Whoa! Okay.” Then he said, “Watch! This new sound, this new energy is a healing frequency.” He said, “I’m shutting down the demonic frequencies,” and, instead, his frequency is coming forth—a new sound. A divine sound. A sound of Heaven. A sound of the Lord. A healing sound. 

And he said, “Watch! President Trump,” he said these three things, “Trump, Tesla, Space Force. Trump, Tesla, Space Force.” I said, “President Trump, Tesla,” and I’m like, “Is Tesla the scientist that, uh, you know, in, uh, in the early 1900’s?” We know that President Trump’s uncle, John Trump, worked for Tesla. Had all of Tesla’s papers. Tesla was a brilliant sci, scientist. Tesla was trying to bring a new energy, but all of the elite greedy, uh, people, uh, you know, shut him down because they wanted to, you know, enslave the people with their energy. But I don’t, I don’t know if this is the Tesla of, of history. I, I’m eve, I’m even seeing that it could be, uh, Elon, yeah, and Space Force.

So he was showing me Space Force. He was showing me rockets going up in space. He was showing me that Trump … He just said these three words, “Watch Trump. Watch Tesla. Watch Space Force.” And he says, “Watch!” He says, “The angels of the Lord will be attracted to this new energy, to this new healing frequency that is going, the, the old is going to be shut down, and the new is going to be turned on.” This new grid, he’s saying it’ll be like honey, and he gave me this scripture, and a prophetic word should always confirm in the scripture. He gave me the scripture that it’ll be healing like honey. Healing, he said, healing to our bones, to our very bones, to the very marrow, to the very cells of our bones. There’s a scripture on that.

And he said, “Watch, my angels will be attracted to this.” He says, “People will be able to see them. There will be more angelic encounters. There will be more people being actually to see the angels around them and in the atmosphere.” He says, “Demons will scatter! They will be repelled like bugs!” He showed me scattering demons when this new energy is turned back on. This turn on, this new sound, this new, he’s calling it a new grid. It’ll be like honey to our bones, but, and it’ll attract the angelic, but the demons will not be able to stand it.”

We know Kelly kept us with a sense of humor through all this!!  Very serious matters, but it helped us stay hopeful, faithful and joyful even in those times of tribulation!  I am thankful to God who kept encouraging us to watch HIS brilliant plan unfold!

I can just hear Kelly Marie Brady’s laughter when she sees the blue reflecting pool and says, “That looks like Tidy Bowl. Flush out the rest of the swamp!” lol

CBN News: A shooter opened fire inside the hotel where President Donald Trump was attending the White House Correspondents’ dinner Saturday night, according to a law enforcement official.

The President, First Lady Melania Trump, Vice President JD Vance, and other top U.S. leaders were evacuated from the annual dinner and were reported to be uninjured.

Shots could be heard outside the ballroom, and pandemonium erupted inside the event as someone yelled, “Get down! Stay down!”

ISAIAH 54:16 JUMPED OUT AT ME

KJV – 16 “Behold, I have created the smith that bloweth the coals in the fire, and that bringeth forth an instrument for his work; and I have created the waster to destroy.”

NASV – 16 “Behold, I Myself have created the smith who blows the fire of coals And brings out a weapon for its work; And I have created the destroyer to ruin.” 

Isaiah 54 is a vision of Zion restored. Zion’s suffering and humiliation will be forgotten in her glorious future. Verses 1-3 speak of the return of the exiles to Zion. Verses 4-6 speak of how Israel, returning to God like a deserted wife to her husband, will forget the shame of the past in the love and joy of the reunion. Verses 7-10 speak of God’s momentary anger and everlasting love. Verses 11-17 speak of the outer and inner splendor of Zion.

So, now look at v. 16-17 in this light. Neither violent action nor malicious speech will be effective against Israel because God is its Protector — the Creator of both the maker of the instruments of war and the one who uses them. Neither is able to act against God’s will since the entire chapter is messianic prophecy.
