Prayer Of Repentance For Robbing God And Breaking Promises To God

On a recent broadcast of Life in the Faith Lane, a viewer asked the following question: “How do I pray for freedom of debt? I take two steps and then something happens, and now it’s more debt. I do tithe and serve at the church.”

Below is the Holy Spirit-led answer and prayer strategy from Coach Annamarie. If you are struggling in this area too, take this for yourself and your situation!

Annamarie: Are you tithing where God wants you to tithe? Is it a good storehouse? Sometimes it’s where you’re tithing. We are to tithe where we are fed – bottom line. Is your church really feeding you? Are you growing there? You see, people say they tithe. Are you really being fed there? You have to tithe where God tells you to tithe, and it has to be a place that you’re being fed, where you’re seeing growth. That’s the big thing. It’s where you’re tithing, number one, and two, have you repented for you and your family bloodline and your husband’s family and family bloodline of all your financial sins?

You see, there’s two parts to Malachi Chapter 3 when you read it. My husband, Michael, and I were still in debt after 20 years of marriage. We were giving to our church. We weren’t giving our faithful tithe, but we were giving. I have the story about how God brought Mike and I to ground zero.

The Lord said to me, “You and Mike are in disobedience, and you’re robbing me.” Robbing Him?! Robbing Him?! What?! He said, “Malachi Chapter 3. Read the whole thing!” It starts out talking about the fact that the people in our bloodline, our ancestors, and us robbed God. We weren’t faithful with our tithes, and even money that was set aside that was meant for God was not given to God.

So what is that? Financial sin against God. What does that mean? If you’re reading the whole chapter of Malachi Chapter 3, it says God will rebuke the devourer, meaning you’ll be debt free. Anything that’s devouring your finances will be debt free. You’ll come out of debt. Your finances will increase.

So it could be that you think you and your husband are being good and tithing, but what about the people in your family bloodline? Is there somebody that robbed God and the enemy’s still using that to devour your finances, has a legal right? I’m not talking about somebody going in a church and robbing the collection plate; although, that has happened. What I’m telling you is there are people in your family bloodline that did not tithe, that were not faithful with their tithe that called themselves Christians, or people that robbed God – held back their tithe on purpose or promised God that they would give money to something and didn’t do it. That all has to be repented for all the way down your family bloodline and you and your husband because you are one flesh.

So Mike and I had to hold hands right there and repent for ourselves and our lifetime and everybody in our family bloodline going all the way back to Adam and Eve for financial sins against God and anybody who robbed God, didn’t faithfully tithe, or said they were going to give to God but didn’t. We had to repent for all of that and get it under the blood of Jesus Christ.

And every once in a while I have to go before the Lord and repent again and say, “Father God, is there something I promised I would do for you? Is there something I promised that I would sow into? Did I say I was going to give to Israel and didn’t? Did I say I was going to give to a ministry and didn’t? Did you tell me to give somewhere, and I didn’t do it? I repent for that, and I ask for grace, mercy, and forgiveness. I ask for a reprieve. I ask for the blood of Jesus Christ to go on it.”

I’m getting a prophetic word right now. This is for somebody. It could even be for me right now. It could be for you, (name of person who asked the question). Did God tell you to give somewhere, and you didn’t do it? Maybe you even said you were going to do it, sat down with your husband or told somebody you were going to give to a certain thing, and God said, “Do it,” whether it be Israel or a certain charity or a certain church or ministry, and you had intentions of doing it, but you didn’t do it? The enemy can hold that against you. It’s literally giving God a false promise. It’s like robbing God. Did you put the money somewhere else? Just simply repent right now!

Pray Out Loud

“Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, I come before you humbly, and I repent for any time I promised to give, any time I said I was going to give financially – sow a seed, give a tithe or a donation – when I said I was going to do it and I didn’t do it. I repent for any time You told me to give and I didn’t do it. I repent for any time I was meant to give and I didn’t do it and used the money for something else. I repent for robbing You, God. I repent for lying to You, God. I repent for bearing false witness against You, Father God. I repent for sinning against Your word in Malachi Chapter 3.

“Father God, I ask You to receive my heartfelt repentance today, and I ask for You to have grace and mercy upon me and upon my finances. Father God, I ask right now for Jesus to put His blood on all these sins that I’m confessing and any sins that I’ve forgotten about that would cause the legal right of the demonic to come against my finances – that would cause me to be in debt and continue to have financial strife. Any sins that are against You, God, and against Your word – the ones that I did knowingly and unknowingly, I repent right now for them, Father. I ask for Your grace and mercy and for the blood of Jesus Christ to speak a better word for me and my finances right now because my money is not my own. It belongs to You, God.

“Father, I ask You to release me from the consequences of these sins right now because of the blood of Jesus Christ that is covering them – all of my financial sins and my poor financial stewardship. Father God, I ask You to give me another chance to get it right – a second chance. I ask You also to rebuke the devourer, that it would silence the accuser against me and strip him of his legal right to come against my finances.

“Father, I ask for the blood of Jesus to go anywhere where the enemy is trying to cause delays in my finances or cause me to have debt, and to go on the sins that are causing that. I am not meant to have debt. Jesus paid my debt already.

“I thank You, Lord Jesus Christ, that You paid all of my debts. I am debt free because of Jesus Christ, and I have the receipts – the blood of Jesus. And it is written, “A curse causeless cannot alight,” and because of the blood of Jesus Christ, there is no curse. The devil can no longer bring curses against my finances. I am debt free because of Jesus Christ. Jesus became a curse for me.

“Father, I thank You for this opportunity to repent, and for the blood of Jesus Christ to be speaking over all my financial sins. All of my financial sins are now wiped clean in the heavens and the earth by the blood of Jesus. I have a second chance from God, and I have grace and mercy.

“Father, I ask You to reveal to me anywhere that I have been disobedient with my finances and give me a second chance to come into obedience. If I’m not tithing where You want me to tithe, then show me where You want me to tithe. I ask You, Father, to rebuke the devourer off of everything in my life right now, according to Your word in Malachi Chapter 3, because of the blood of Jesus Christ that is now covering all of my sins with finances and tithing and my ancestors’ too. Thank You, Jesus Christ.

“Father God, I want to be blessed to be a blessing because You’re blessed to be a blessing. I want increase so my tithe gets greater and greater and greater for You and Your kingdom – for Your plans and purposes in the earth, for Your storehouse to be filled, where there will be food in Your house, Father, and food in my house and in the house of my family.

“I thank You for this opportunity to repent. We get to repent, a free gift for all of us. I ask You to do this for me and my family because of the precious blood of Jesus that has interceded on our behalf and covered our sin, and we are now clean, made new again, and Your grace and mercy is upon us and Your blessing also, Father.

“Let the windows of Heaven open up for us right now and pour out a blessing so great we can hardly contain it. I ask You to rebuke the devourer off of us right now, off of our finances, off of our harvests, off of our families, and off of our bank accounts. You are our treasure, Father God. In Jesus’ name, You are the source of our supply. You run our supply routes, Father God. Assign Your angels to our supply routes to protect it, Father God, and redeem it from all evil, by the blood of Jesus, covering our supply routes and accelerating our finances and our harvests to us, in Jesus’ mighty name, amen and amen! So be it!”

Prayer For Repentance For Sins Of The Hands

“Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, I repent for all the sins of my hand gates. I repent for using my hands for sinful purposes. I repent for using my hands for stealing. I repent for using my hands to write evil things. I repent for using my hands to text evil things. I repent for using my hands to point the finger and falsely accuse people. I repent for using my hands to hurt other people by slapping them or punching them. I repent for using my hands to curse You, Father God, by flipping the bird. I repent for any unholy, ungodly agreements I made with my hands by signing my signature and any blood covenants or ungodly handshakes I’ve done with my hands. I repent for any sexual sins I’ve done with my hands and any sins using my hands as tools to gain access to sinful things online and in books and magazines. I repent for using my hands to sin with money, drugs, and alcohol.

“I ask the Lord Jesus to put His blood on all those sins of my hands and erase all the sins of my hands all the way back to my birth. I ask for grace, mercy, and forgiveness. Lord Jesus, cover all those sins with Your blood and erase them. Those sins are now erased as far as the east is from the west and remembered no more for your sake and mine.

“Father God, I ask that You would release me of all consequences of the sins of my hands, for it is written a curse causeless cannot alight. Now that the blood of Jesus Christ is covering all those sins of my hands, there is no cause for a curse against my hands. I lift up my hands to You, God, in praise and worship, cleansed, sanctified, and holy now, by the blood of Jesus. I ask You to bless my hands, Father, and bless the work of my hands. My hands will be used to bless You, Father God, and others and Your kingdom, in Jesus Christ’s name.”

Prayer To Repent For Illegal Warfare

If you’ve ever prayed illegal prayers, done illegal warfare over your home, land, schools, government, etc., it opens you up to backlash from the enemy. It’s very important to pray this prayer of repentance and follow our training on how to do land assignments safely, according to God’s Word, so you won’t get any backlash when you go out and do land assignments.

Pray Out Loud

“Dear Heavenly Father, I come before You into the Court of Heaven today, Lord. I thank You, that I can stand here in the blood of Jesus Christ because I have repented and asked forgiveness for any sin in my life, and You’ve cleansed me. But, Lord, this other issue has arisen, and I want to bring it before the Court. I want to repent and ask for forgiveness, Lord, if I’ve prayed unlawful prayers. You say in Revelation that lawlessness will increase. Lord, I don’t want to be part of that lawlessness, so, Father, if I’ve prayed or led people or taught people in unlawful prayers, illegal unlawful ways to pray, Lord, then I repent and ask for forgiveness for that. I ask that You wash that from my record. I ask, Lord, that if it’s caused anybody harm that I may have taught over the years or anyone may have picked it up from me, the way I prayed that was incorrect, Father, I pray that You cleanse them too.

“I stand in the gap for any of those who might have picked up from the way I prayed over the years before I knew the truth, Lord, that they may have been attacked, and I repent and ask for forgiveness for that, even on their behalf. I ask You to wash them with the blood of Jesus, bring them into grace and mercy, and cleanse them and set them free from any of those demonic attacks that come from attacking the demonic as a human and attacking the spiritual.

“Father, I ask You to give them the revelation of the right way to pray, and, Lord, those in churches who believe they’re praying correctly by coming against principalities and powers, You say in Your Word in Jude, when the person comes against Leviathan, “Remember the fight, and don’t ever do it again. You cannot do that.” Even Michael when he was contending over the body of Moses didn’t dare bring a railing accusation against the enemy.

“So, Lord, the enemy has a position. We respect that position, Father, but we know how to deal with that position, and it’s through Your Word and through our prayers of repentance and asking forgiveness. So forgive us and move us from any judgments that could be hanging on from those old days and those old ways and move us into grace and mercy. Remove veils off the eyes of our understanding and continue, Lord, to show us the way to victory, in Jesus’ name. Amen.”

Prayer To Forgive Others and Ask Forgiveness

If anyone has wronged you or your family or you have anyone or any situation that has caused you to have bitterness, even people in government, God will deal with them. You’ve got to release the unforgiveness you’re holding towards them. God even told me I had to forgive Hillary Clinton. You cannot hold any unforgiveness toward anyone. God is judging the wickedness. He’s judging the unrighteous. He will bring you justice, but we can’t hold any unforgiveness, any bitterness, any anger. We’ve got to release it all and know that God is the one who will bring the justice. You probably won’t get an apology from the people who hurt you, but God will render His justice, and you’ve got to know He will do it. He will bring what is owed to you from wherever He wants to.

If you are owed money, remember the Lord’s prayer: “Our Father who art in Heaven, Holy is thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts and our trespasses as we forgive those who are in debt and trespass against us.” We have to forgive all debts. We’ve got to forgive all sins against us because “thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory.” He will bring you justice because Jesus said the kingdom of God is like the woman going to the judge saying, “Give me justice with my adversary.”

“I will repay,” says the Lord. “Vengeance is mine,” saith the Lord. So if you’re owed money, an inheritance, or if somebody stole from you forgive it!

Put your hands on your heart and say, “Thank You, Jesus.” Take a deep breath and then exhale. Say, “Thank You, Jesus.” Come into a place of peace. Feel the warmth of your hands on your heart. Feel Jesus on your heart. Visualize the cross of Jesus Christ in front of you. Feel the love of Jesus in you.

Long Version – Pray Out Loud

“In the name of Jesus Christ, my Lord, my Savior, my Redeemer, the Lover of my Life, the Lover of my Soul, my soul exalts You, Jesus. You’ve taken everything upon Your cross – my sin. Thank You, Jesus. Right now, as an act of my will, I choose to repent before You, Lord, before Your Cross, before Father God, according to Your Word in Mark 11: 24-27, that whatever I ask for in prayer in Your name, King Jesus, it will be done for me. Mountains can be moved into the sea by my faith through Christ Jesus. But it is also written in that same Word that if I am holding any unforgiveness towards anyone – anything – if I’m holding any bitterness, any resentment, any offense right now, I come before Your Cross, before You, Lord, before You, Father God, and I repent of any unforgiveness, any bitterness, any resentment, any offense, and any anger that I’m holding against any person, place, event, or situation. I ask You, Jesus Christ, to put Your blood on those sins. Wash me clean of those sins, and, Father God, in Jesus’ name, I ask to be released of all consequences of those sins, and I ask that those people involved, those situations, those events, those places be released of the consequences of those sins. I believe it is done, by the authority of Jesus Christ, by the power of the blood of Jesus Christ, by Your Word, Father God, and by my faith right now.

“These situations and these people that have caused this sin of unforgiveness, bitterness, resentment, and offense, it’s all erased and remembered no more for my sake and Yours, Father. The enemy, the accuser, can no longer accuse me of it, remind me of it, or cause me to have any unforgiveness, bitterness, offense, anger, or resentment. For it is written a curse causeless cannot alight, and the blood of Jesus Christ is upon all these sins and no curse can touch it, no accusation can touch it. It’s all under the blood of Jesus Christ. Thank You, Jesus. Thank You, Father God. Right now, as an act of my will, I choose to release all unforgiveness off of me and off of my life and onto the Cross of Jesus Christ.”

Put your hands back on your heart.

“I choose as an act of my will to release off of me all bitterness, all offense, all resentment, and all anger that I have held towards any person, place, event, or situation since my birth, since my conception in the womb, and I release all bitterness, unforgiveness, all offense, all anger, all accusation, all resentment. I put it on the Cross of Jesus and release it. Thank You, Jesus, for taking this off of me.

“Right now, I forgive _______. (Fill in the blank with the name(s) of anyone or any situation that you need to forgive.) I forgive all debts and trespasses against me. I forgive anyone who owes me money or anyone who owes money to my family. I forgive anyone who has stolen from me, including people in the government. I forgive it all. I release it to You, Jesus, and put it all on Your Cross.

“Father God, You are the God of justice. You will repay. Vengeance is Yours. I hold no vengeance. You are the one, Father God, who will bring me justice. You are the one who will repay me, and I know it will come in a way that I will not expect, and I’ll know it’s from You, Lord.

“Now, I open up my arms to receive. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, I come before You, Father God, and I open up my arms to receive the glory light and the peace of Jesus Christ into all of those places in me – into my heart, my soul, and my life – all those places where I had unforgiveness, bitterness, anger, offense, and resentment, especially into my heart and my soul, filled with the light of Jesus.

“I walk in complete peace. I walk in complete shalom of Almighty God. I hold no bitterness. I hold no unforgiveness. I hold no offense. I hold no anger. My prayers come from a place of peace, forgiveness, light, glory, and faith in my God, my treasure, and my redeemer because my redeemer lives – the living God. I open up my arms and my heart to receive the blessings of God, the redemption of King Jesus. I believe, Father God, that you are giving me exceedingly, abundantly more than I could even ask or think right now, according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

“As I come before You, Father God, to pray, according to Your Word in Mark 11:24-27, I believe by faith that I can speak to that mountain, and it will move and it will throw itself into the sea. And everything I pray for will come forth because I’m holding no unforgiveness and my sins are forgiven, and nothing can come against my prayer. I believe it is done right now, in the name and authority of Jesus Christ. So be it and hallelujah!! Amen and amen!”

Short Version – Pray Out Loud

Prayer Against Loneliness (Remove Curse Of Loneliness Off Family Line)

The Lord has revealed that loneliness is a generational bloodline curse that has come from sin in past generations. There could be a cause to this from your ancestors on both a mother’s and father’s side — those in your bloodline that forced others into confinement unjustly. In the blank space, you can add the person’s name.

Speak Out Loud

“Heavenly Father, Almighty God, in the name of Jesus Christ, I stand in the gap for _______ right now. I ask to come into Your Heavenly Courts. Please allow me to present this prayer before your courts, Father God. I repent as an ambassador of reconciliation for _______ and anywhere on their bloodline going all the way back to Adam and Eve. If there were jailers that threw Christians or any innocent person unjustly into jail or threw them into solitary confinement or that took Your people captive and caused them to be in solitude and caused them to be lonely and to feel forlorn, I repent for that.

“I repent for acts of captivity on _______’s family bloodline going all the way back to Adam and Eve. I repent for those on the _______ family bloodline that persecuted Christians. Father God, take the captivity captive in their bloodline. Release _______’s family bloodline out of this prison. Release them out of captivity so they are no longer in solitary confinement, and bind that demon that’s been operating. Take their captivity captive. They are not alone. King Jesus is with them!

“Lord Jesus, I ask that You put Your blood on this sin of _______’s bloodline right now. Anybody who persecuted Christians, threw them in jail, threw them in solitary confinement, did injustice against people, or put them in solitary confinement, I repent for this right now.

“Father God, Your Joanna that You sent to Your Son Jesus Christ was a righteous woman. She fought for Jesus. She fought for John the Baptist. She did not agree with putting Christians in jail. She did not agree with Herod’s policies. She did not agree with Herod’s cruelty. She was on Your side, Father God.

“_______ is not alone. You are with them, Jesus. You are with them, Father God, and any curses or demonic assignments that are coming against them causing them to feel lonely are broken off of them today by the power of the blood of Jesus Christ! Every demon or demonic assignment connected to this, a curse causeless cannot light and it cannot come against _______ anymore.

“Your _______, Lord, they are here now. They are cleansed by the blood of Jesus! Their bloodline is cleansed by the blood of Jesus! Every demon or demonic assignment causing them to feel lonely — causing loneliness, causing them to feel forlorn and to feel like they are in solitary confinement — those demons are fired! They are canceled off of their assignment!

“O Father, release _______ and their bloodline of all consequences of these sins, by the blood of Jesus. They have been released out of this prison! Their bloodline has been released out of this prison! Take their captivity captive, Lord. I ask for signs, wonders, miracles, and breakthroughs for _______ and their household and their family! No more loneliness! No more forlornness! No more solitude! The blood of Jesus Christ has spoken. AMEN, AND SO BE IT!”
