The True Meaning of The Firmament – Earth is NOT Flat – It’s Firm

For those who are new to the Christian faith, say within 3 to 4 years, and who have not immersed themselves in a systematic study of Scripture, it is easy to get verses out of context. The literature of the Bible is just as rich as the truth it conveys. There are historical books, poetic books, prophetic books, etc…. There are also figures of speech and many means that Hebrew writers used to convey truth through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. I do want to point out that there are various references in the Bible for the sphere of the earth. For homework, review Proverbs 8:27, Isaiah 40:22, and Job 26:10.

What matters to me is that people work to understand the truth of Scripture. It takes attention, time, and dedication. The Word says to study, so study.

I personally believe by the leading of the Word and the Holy Spirit that the earth is a round sphere held “firmly” together by the power of God.   For example, are our heads flat with domes over them? No! Our heads are round and spherical with the power of God holding everything in place “firm” so your eyeballs don’t roll out of your head.  His power dwells in the firmament.   The firmament is what holds the earth and everything together!  The creation is “firm”.

Understanding the earth itself and everything on it is actually made firm by sound vibration from the voice of God.  The Firmament is the Power of the Spirit of God that holds everything in the earth on the earth and around the earth together in a round ball, like your own head.   The Creator holds us together, His creation as humans and earth itself, HE holds everything together perfectly chemically and magnetically on the earth as a round sphere – He does this by His POWER.  The Firmament is the Power of God itself!

THE FIRMAMENT IS THE POWER OF GOD ALL OVER THE EARTH HOLDING IT TOGETHER PERFECTLY.

People are making this flat earth their religion. Its getting away from the great commission of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I am not concerned about all the flat earth talk. My concern is getting people activated in their purpose for Jesus Christ who will come back to the earth and we need to be faithful and not distracted arguing over the shape of the earth. Instead be reminded we are to pray for the earth to be prepared for Jesus Christ, and yes take dominion of  the earth, for the Kingdom of God, it is our inheritance.
