ANNAMARIE: Is this a word for somebody here? Hm? Have you been asking God for the finances to repair something, renovate something, build something? Hm? And you’ve been like, “Oh, maybe we should get a loan or maybe we should borrow the money or … You’re trying to come up with all, you know, these, these man’s ways and ideas to do it, and you’re worried about how it’s going to get done, how it’s going to be, [Sound effect]. And the Lord is saying, “Stop worrying about the how, and stop looking about, at man’s ways to do it.”
The Lord wants this building to be done even more than you. And we need to get in obedience with His word and align with His word and stop worrying about the how. Stop worrying about the when, and just know, “not by power, not by might, but by My Spirit,” says the Lord.
So right now, let’s put our faith together. Let’s just reach towards each other. Come on, let’s pray.
Pray Out Loud
“Heavenly Father, Father God, You know what the desires of our hearts are for building and renovating right now – building up our homes, building new homes, renovating our homes, building a garage, a shed, building a church, building a ministry, acquiring land and developing it for our households, for our kingdom businesses, our farms. Whatever it is, Father God, rebuilding our cities, building for the kingdom. Father, You want this building up and building back America. Father God, You want this even more than we do, and we’re coming into alignment with Your word, according to Zechariah 4:6, that You want the building to begin and that it pleases you.
“We’re ready to begin it, Father God, and we will not look to man’s ways for this, and we repent if we allowed anxiety and worry to get to us. We repent for jumping into things that we shouldn’t have jumped into when we should have waited on Your Holy Spirit. We ask Jesus to put His blood on that, and release us of the consequences of that. And Father, we come humbly before You fresh and new with our hearts laid before You. We ask that these building projects that we have, these building and renovation projects that we are believing You for that we are in need of, even if it’s a new house, that not by power, not by might, but by Your Holy Spirit it is being done, and we believe it by faith and we trust it. We’re not worried about the when. We’re not worried about the how. We just know you’re going to do it through Your Holy Spirit, and if You are leading us to do something and Your Holy Spirit tells us to do something, we partner with Your Holy Spirit on this, and we will listen, and we will be obedient, and we receive the finances to do this, Father God, and the help, the builders, everything that You have for us – the technicians and subcontractors, the tradesmen and women. We receive them, Father God, and we will do what You tell us to do by the leading of Your Holy Spirit.
“We thank You, Father, for this word. We thank You for Zechariah. We thank You for Your prophet. We thank You for Your word. Your word will fulfill itself, and we stand on this word, and we are in expectation of Your glory in all of this, Father God, in Jesus’ name. Amen and amen. We place this prayer in the blood of Jesus, and, Father, we thank You for Your word, in Jesus’ name.”

ANNAMARIE: Wow, now did you receive that prayer? And, you know, we could also go to the scriptures where God told King David to build a house in Jerusalem, and you know what King David said? “If You dwell with me there, Lord.” God wants to be a part of the building. So as soon as KIng David invited the Lord to dwell with him where they were gonna build a house, God said, “I will dwell with you there, and we will build this together.” And immediately He told King David to send for the lumber to come from, right, cedars of Lebanon for beams. God began to work with King David to go and get all the materials, the craftsmen.
So I believe another big part of this is, “Lord, I want You to partner with me in the building. I want You to partner with me in the renovations. I want You to dwell with me here and enjoy it. Enjoy the new home with me. Enjoy the brand new kitchen with me, Lord. I invite you.”
And just, you know, and that’s another word we can stand on and say, “Lord, remember when You told King David to build his house in Jerusalem, and he invited You to dwell with him there at that house, and it pleased You so greatly that You sent for all the materials to build the house, the best of materials.”
And so we’re asking for that too. So, Father, in the name of Jesus, we invite You to dwell with us in these places where we’re building. Come and be with me at the kitchen table. Enjoy the kitchen with me, the brand new renovated kitchen. Come and dwell with me, Lord, and enjoy it with us. You did it for King David when he asked You to come and dwell with him in his new house he was building, and I ask You to do it for me too, Lord. I’m inviting You to dwell in this new kitchen with us and sit around the table with us, and cook the meals with us. Be a part of this whole brand new renovation, and enjoy it with us with Your Holy Spirit. King Jesus, knock at this door, and we will say, “Come in, King Jesus,” and You will sit and sup with us.
He wants to be a part of it. He wants to be with us, and He will send for all the materials we need. So we gotta make sure that we don’t allow our emotions or our disappointment, or, “Oh, it’s not happening fast enough, or my husband da da da, whatever, or blah, blah, blah or this and that,” right? If we let all that other stuff get in the way, what’s it showing? It’s showing that we’re not trusting God, that we’re looking at man’s ways instead of God’s ways. “Not by power, not by might, but by My spirit,” says the Lord.
We gotta be reminded, God is not delaying things. He’s arranging things, and His timing is perfect, and we can’t look to man to do this in man’s ways and all of our logic, right? We gotta keep that Zechariah 4:6 scripture very close to us all the time and say, “Oh, wait a minute, ‘not by power, not by might, but by your spirit,’ says the Lord. I trust the Holy Spirit is working on this right now. I’m not gonna worry about the how. I’m not gonna worry about the when. I’m not gonna worry about the who, what, when, where, and why. I’m gonna put my focus on the spirit of the living God that put everything together perfectly in the perfect timing with all the perfect people, with all the perfect finances. He brings it all together, so he can be glorified in it and enjoy it with us, and be partnered with us in it.
Wow, I’m so grateful that God gave me that word, and I’m so grateful that I could share it with all of you. So pay attention to the signs God has given you every day. Some of you might come here and say, “Gee, Coach Annamarie,” you, you don’t know if you’re hearing from God. So if you’re here today, and you’ve come to this broadcast, you’ve heard from God because I asked the Holy Spirit to go and get who needs to be here today, and if He has a word for you, that I would be obedient to bring it.
He loves you. He sees you. He hears you. He is leading you. He is talking to you. Hallelujah! God is going to bring it all together for good. Trust Him in all this, and if He leads you to pray a specific prayer on a specific scripture, do it. He wants you to partner with the Holy Spirit on all of this.
There we are. Zechariah 4:6 – “And then He answered and spoke to me saying, ‘This is the word of the Lord unto Zerrubbabel.’” So Zechariah is the prophet that is standing in the court of Heaven witnessing the Lord Jesus Christ speaking to the high priest, Joshua. Okay? And Joshua knew that the tabernacle needed to be rebuilt, and he was petitioning the Lord for the temple to be rebuilt, and the Lord is saying to him, “This is the word of the Lord unto Zerubbabel.”
Now Zerubbabel was the governor or I would say the mayor, governor of Jerusalem at the time that would say, “Okay, let’s build,” but the Lord Jesus Christ is speaking to Joshua, the high priest. Zechariah is in the court of Heaven witnessing this as a prophet, and the Lord is saying, “Joshua, you go back and tell the governor that ‘not by might, not by power, not by man’s might, not by man’s power, but by the spirit of the living God,’ says the Lord of hosts. This will happen by My spirit.” And it did. It did. Wow!
So if you wanna see something in your community be built. If you wanna see something in your state built. You wanna see something in our nation built, not just in our homes, this is the scripture, my friends. Wow, thank You, Lord. Thank You, Jesus.
Here’s the full scripture. Zechariah 4:9-10 – “In the hands of Zerubbabel, I have laid the foundation of this house.” That was the current governor of Jerusalem. “This hand shall also complete it. That when you know that I [sic] the Lord of Hosts has sent me to you. For whatever [sic], whoever has despised the day of small things shall rejoice and shall see the plumb line in the hand of Zerubbabel.”
In other words, the Lord is saying do not despise the small things that are beginning. Do not despise the beginning of the new thing and the new building because it pleases the Lord to see the building begin.
So this is what I’m going to start doing. I said to Mike, “Okay, we got the word, Zechariah 4:9, and it’s by the power of the Holy Spirit our kitchen will be renovated, but we got instructions to do this. We have to start what? Measuring. What’s a plumbline? It’s a form of measuring.
So what the Lord wants you to do to get started is start measuring things out. So I said, “Okay, I’m gonna start measuring for the new island that I want to build in the center of the kitchen. I want to start measuring for the new floor, the new cabinets, the new appliances. I’m going to start measuring. I’m going to start writing those measurements down.” The Lord is saying, “Start measuring.”
So that’s a prophetic act of faith when you start measuring and writing it down. Start measuring. If you’re looking for a new house or you’re going to build a new house say, “Okay, this is the square footage we’re looking at.” Start measuring out the plans and drawing them out. Even if you want to build a pool in the back yard and you’re going to be using it, not just for the kids to enjoy and you to enjoy, but you’re going to use it for prayer meetings, for baptisms, go outside and measure it out in the back yard.
So that is the first step with this is this prophetic act of faith that you can do by beginning to measure and write it down and say, “Because, Lord, it says in Zechariah 4:6-10 that You, Lord, it blesses You, it pleases You to see the measuring start for these projects.”
Isn’t that something? Just by you measuring the things out with a tape measure and the plumbline shows God that you are, you believe Him that He’s doing this by His Holy Spirit and that you com, you commenced it by measuring. Isn’t that something? I just love that because God gives us the first step.
You know, God will give us a prophetic word. He’ll tell us to have faith. He’ll tell us to believe Him, but then He will give us a first step. He’ll give us the first step. Isn’t that beautiful? Look at God. Look at God.
