Prayer For An Abundant Life

Prayer For An Abundant Life

On the March 29, 2024, broadcast of Life in the Faith Lane, a viewer asked for prayer because she didn’t want to live anymore. The Holy Spirit gave Annamarie a beautiful prayer for an abundant life straight from the Father’s heart.

If you struggle with thoughts and feelings like this, read the teaching note below, and pray the powerful prayer that follows it for an abundant life in Christ!

Teaching Note

If you’re a believer in Jesus Christ of Nazareth, you’ve already died. You’ve died to the flesh, and you’re alive in Christ. Jesus Christ lives within you. He is your life. You don’t rely on yourself for life. Jesus is already working in you. He has all the power inside of you, so whatever burdens you’re carrying, throw them off. Those burdens died a long time ago. Now you’re only yoked to Jesus Christ and your burden is light and easy. He’s in you. He’s alive in you!

Pray Out Loud

  • “Heavenly Father, Father God, thank You for my life. You knit me together in my mother’s womb. You knew me before I was even born. Thank You, Father God, for Your great plans for my life. Thank You, Father God, for Your Son, Jesus Christ, who already died for me. When He died on the Cross, all my pain, all my worries, and all my struggles died on the Cross with Him. He took it away from me. Thank You, Jesus. It didn’t end at the Cross. Thank You, Jesus, that You rose from the dead, and I rose with You. I am alive in You, Jesus, and You are alive in me, Jesus. We are one!

  • “Thank You, Father God, for this gift. You gave me Your Holy Spirit. Thank You, Holy Spirit, for being inside of me. Thank You, Holy Spirit, for all of Your gifts. I have love. I have joy. I have peace. I have self control. I walk in the light of the Lord. I do not walk on my own strength. It’s Jesus Christ who lives within me. I’m arising and walking in Your light. Thank You, Jesus. Thank You, Holy Spirit.

  • “Heavenly Father, Father God, I ask, in the name of Jesus, for a refreshing of Your Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit. Pour a fresh anointing on my shoulders. Thank You, Holy Spirit. Right now, I believe that the anointing of the Holy Spirit is on me. I proclaim that it is written, ‘the anointing breaks the yoke,’ so I command every yoke of fear, every yoke of rejection, every yoke of heaviness, every yoke that is not of God to be broken off me now, in the name of Jesus.

  • “I command every lying, tormenting thought to be evicted from my mind now, in the name of Jesus Christ. I invite You, King Jesus, into my thoughts to redeem them. I invite You, King Jesus, into my heart to redeem my emotions for I am only yoked to Jesus Christ, and His burden is easy and light and joyful. I renounce all death. I renounce all fear of death. I renounce all thoughts of death. I renounce all thoughts that are not of God. I want to live! I want to live and walk with You, Jesus. Thank You, Jesus, for carrying all my burdens. I feel light. I feel refreshed. I am redeemed. I am healed. I am whole. I am Shalom, in Jesus Christ’s name. Amen and so be it!”

Prayer: Asking to be Obedient to God

Prayer: Asking to be Obedient to God

Obedience brings breakthrough! If you’ve been obedient to God and have done everything He’s asked you to do, and you still haven’t seen your breakthrough, pray the prayer below. You can also watch the video for the whole teaching.

Pray Out Loud

  • “Father God, I come to You in the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ. Father God, I ask You to consider my obedience. I’ve been obedient to everything You’ve asked me to do. If there’s anywhere I haven’t been obedient, I repent, and I ask for grace, mercy, and forgiveness. I ask the Lord Jesus Christ to put His blood on my sins of disobedience. I repent, Father God, if I’ve ignored Your nudges and ignored Your pushes. I repent for feeling sorry for myself. I repent for my lack of faith and my lack of belief. Help my unbelief, Lord Jesus, that You would put it all under Your blood and erase it forever.

  • “I stand before You today, Father God, ready to be obedient. I ask You to nudge me hard with Your Holy Spirit and push me to do it until I do it. I desire to be obedient to You, Lord God, for obedience is greater than sacrifice. Father God, I know if I’m obedient to the call that You’ve called me to and I show up every day for You in whatever it is that You’ve called me to do, I will not fear. I know that You’re taking care of my family. I know that You’re taking care of my health. I know that You’re taking care of all my needs right down to gas in my car. You’re paying my bills. You’re doing everything because I serve You. You, who are promised, are faithful, and I will act in obedience right now no matter what.

  • “I ask You, Father, to assign angel armies to me, my household, my ministry, my business, and my family so I can go forth and do what You’ve called me to do with divine protection. I’m in expectation of Your glory, Father God, because I want to brag about You to everybody about how you provided, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen and amen. This word will not return void. It will prosper for what it is sent, in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. So be it!”
Prayer To Grow The Faith Of A Loved One

Prayer To Grow The Faith Of A Loved One

Everybody’s been given a portion of faith as big as a mustard seed. Even your prodigals when they seem to be away from God, they still have a mustard seed of faith.

Matthew 13:31-33 (NLT)
Parable of the Mustard Seed
31 Here is another illustration Jesus used: “The Kingdom of Heaven is like a mustard seed planted in a field. 32 It is the smallest of all seeds, but it becomes the largest of garden plants; it grows into a tree, and birds come and make nests in its branches.”

Luke 17:5-6 (NLT)

5 “The apostles said to the Lord, ‘Show us how to increase our faith.’ 6 The Lord answered, ‘If you had faith even as small as a mustard seed, you could say to this mulberry tree, ‘May you be uprooted and be planted in the sea,’ and it would obey you!’”

Matthew 17:20 (NLT)

20 “You don’t have enough faith,” Jesus told them. “I tell you the truth, if you had faith even as small as a mustard seed, you could say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it would move. Nothing would be impossible.”

Ask For More Faith

We want to keep asking Jesus to grow that faith in us and in our prodigals. We can ask for more faith!

Luke 22:31-32 (NLT)

31 “‘Simon, Simon, Satan has asked to sift each of you like wheat. 32 But I have pleaded in prayer for you, Simon, that your faith should not fail. So when you have repented and turned to me again, strengthen your brothers.’

Pray Out Loud

“Thank You, Jesus, that I know for a fact that You are praying right now that my faith will not fail me. Father God, in the name of Jesus, I’m asking for more faith today for myself/my prodigal _______. I know that I/my prodigal has even just the faith of a mustard seed, and I ask You, Father, to give me/them more faith. Grow that mustard seed of faith. I declare that the mustard seed of faith is taking root in me/my prodigal right now, and it’s growing into a great and beautiful established tree. The little birds are landing on that mustard seed tree now.”

When we start praying on the word, and we believe by faith that we can ask for more faith for ourselves and to ask God to take that little mustard seed of faith and grow it and we come into agreement with that faith, even if it’s teeny tiny, God will do these miracles.

What moves God? It’s our faith that moves God, and when we come into agreement together as a group in faith, it just multiplies.

Matthew 18:19-20 (KJV)

19 “Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.

20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.”

When two or more people gather in the name of Jesus Christ, you’re having church. We are the church, and when we gather to pray in the name of Jesus and we agree on it, it is done. And when we touch and agree with Jesus Christ’s prayers, it is done!

If you don’t have a prayer partner, ask King Jesus to be your prayer partner. Jesus lives to intercede for us. It says that Jesus Christ is at the right hand of Father God interceding for us day and night, night and day. If you want to accelerate your breakthroughs, just touch and agree with Jesus’ prayers for you and your family every morning because He prays the perfect prayer. He’s interceding for you, your household, your children, and your ministry day and night.

Pray Out Loud

“King Jesus, I don’t have a prayer partner right now to come into agreement with me. Would You agree with my prayer before the Father?”

“King Jesus, I touch and agree with Your prayers for me right now because I know you’re praying the perfect prayer for me. King Jesus, I touch and agree with the prayers you are praying for my marriage right now because I know you’re praying the perfect prayer for my marriage. King Jesus, I touch and agree with Your prayers for my children right now because I know You’re praying the perfect prayer for my children right now. King Jesus, I touch and agree with Your prayers for my finances right now. Because I’m of the kingdom, I have everything that You have, Jesus. Thank You, Father God! In Jesus’ name, amen.”
