Asking King Jesus To Be A Filter In Your Day or In a Moment

Asking King Jesus To Be A Filter In Your Day or In a Moment

I learned this from my dear friend and mentor, Jeanette Strauss.  She said she was at a conference and was in a prayer line, and the person going down the prayer line started speaking things that gave her a check in her spirit. She did not want to agree with that person’s words and did not want him touching her, but she was stuck in the line and could not step back.  She asked the Lord Jesus for help, and He said to her, “Ask ME to be a filter!” So she did! Since then, I have used this strategy many times, for my day and also for any impromptu situation.

Below is the long version of the prayer. The short version is at the end.

Pray Out Loud

  • “King Jesus, I invite You to be a filter between me and everything today, and specifically in this moment of time when I am doing this ______________. I place everything in my life, my body, my soul, my spirit, and everything I do today in Your precious blood. I have on my whole armor of God! I am sealed in Your righteousness, and I have on my whole armor of light. I am clothed in Your peace. The glory of God is my covering, and the favor of God surrounds me as a shield.

  • “I receive good reports today because You are with me. Lord Jesus, You have redeemed everything in my past, present, and in my future! You, Lord, are manifest, present, and in authority over all things in my life, moment by moment! I have absolutely no fear, only faith!  Lord, You come when I ask, and You will not leave me. I am inviting YOU, King Jesus, to stand between me and everything today and particularly this situation ______________. I believe You are here right now, Lord, and I feel Your presence. Thank You, Lord Jesus Christ! I love YOU and ask this Faithfully, in Your name, and I know YOU are here for me right now, Lord Jesus. I am not alone! You are standing between me and everything!

  • “The devil must bow the knee and nothing by all means shall harm me nor any evil touch me! The demons tremble in fear and cannot go through You, Lord Jesus, to get to me! You, Lord, are my shield and my filter with every person, place, or thing that I encounter today! So be it. Amen.”

Short Version: Pray Out Loud

  • “Lord Jesus, I invite You to step into this moment of time and be a filter between me and _______. In Your name, Lord Jesus, I ask. Amen.”

Note: Yes, it is permissible and even encouraged to pray directly to Jesus in Christianity. Jesus is both God and man, and the New Testament provides examples of people praying to him directly. The belief that prayer is primarily directed to God the Father, through Jesus as the mediator, doesn’t preclude direct prayer to Jesus.

Here’s why:

Scriptural Examples:The Bible contains examples of individuals praying directly to Jesus, such as Stephen who prayed, “Lord Jesus, receive my spirit” (Acts 7:59).

Jesus as Mediator: Jesus is described as the mediator between God and humankind (1 Timothy 2:5-6), and he acts as our high priest, representing us to God.

Praying in Jesus’ Name: While we are encouraged to pray in Jesus’ name, this doesn’t mean we shouldn’t also pray directly to Jesus.

Jesus’ Authority: Jesus has the authority to hear and answer prayers (John 14:14).

Direct Communication: The Way, the Truth, and the Life – John 13:13-15
…13 And I will do whatever you ask in My name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If you ask Me for anything in My name, I will do it. 15 If you love Me, you will keep My commandments.

Cross References

John 15:7
“If you remain in Me and My words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.”

Jesus is the Son of God, and we can communicate directly with him as a friend and guide.

In summary, praying to Jesus is a valid and encouraged practice within Christian faith, supported by scripture and theological understanding.

Prayer For Repentance For Sins Of The Hands

Prayer For Repentance For Sins Of The Hands

  • “Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, I repent for all the sins of my hand gates. I repent for using my hands for sinful purposes. I repent for using my hands for stealing. I repent for using my hands to write evil things. I repent for using my hands to text evil things. I repent for using my hands to point the finger and falsely accuse people. I repent for using my hands to hurt other people by slapping them or punching them. I repent for using my hands to curse You, Father God, by flipping the bird. I repent for any unholy, ungodly agreements I made with my hands by signing my signature and any blood covenants or ungodly handshakes I’ve done with my hands. I repent for any sexual sins I’ve done with my hands and any sins using my hands as tools to gain access to sinful things online and in books and magazines. I repent for using my hands to sin with money, drugs, and alcohol.

  • “I ask the Lord Jesus to put His blood on all those sins of my hands and erase all the sins of my hands all the way back to my birth. I ask for grace, mercy, and forgiveness. Lord Jesus, cover all those sins with Your blood and erase them. Those sins are now erased as far as the east is from the west and remembered no more for your sake and mine.

  • “Father God, I ask that You would release me of all consequences of the sins of my hands, for it is written a curse causeless cannot alight. Now that the blood of Jesus Christ is covering all those sins of my hands, there is no cause for a curse against my hands. I lift up my hands to You, God, in praise and worship, cleansed, sanctified, and holy now, by the blood of Jesus. I ask You to bless my hands, Father, and bless the work of my hands. My hands will be used to bless You, Father God, and others and Your kingdom, in Jesus Christ’s name.”

Prayer For Our Covenant Land! Receive Your Promise!

Prayer For Our Covenant Land! Receive Your Promise!

If you are a believer in Jesus Christ, that means you are in covenant with Almighty God through Christ Jesus. It means you are grafted in. We are grafted into the olive tree. We are grafted into the covenant God made with Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and King David. Abraham got land. Isaac got land. Jacob got land. King David got land, and his children got land. So if you are in covenant with God through Jesus Christ, as a believer, it is your portion to have land. As Christians, we are meant to have land. Ask for your land.

Be like Caleb. “Give me my mountain.” Caleb wasn’t even a Jew, but he was grafted into the promise that day because he was brought up under those promises of the tribes of Israel. They invited him and his family to become part of the tribe of Judah, and he got land in the area of Judah in the promised land. That is a prerequisite of us being grafted in through Jesus Christ. Pray the prayer below with me!

Pray Out Loud

  • “Father God, I’m grafted into the promises of Abrahan, Isaac, Jacob, and King David through Christ Jesus. Therefore, I get land, and, like Caleb, I say to You today, give me my land that is promised to me that You, O Lord, O God, may be glorified in it, and my children are blessed in it. Father God, in Jesus Christ’s name, bring me to that land, according to Your Word in Psalm 37, that I dwell in the land that You have brought me to, and I am blessed in this land. I am prospering in this land – me and my household. I have good pasture, safe pasture, and rest on all sides, in Jesus’ mighty name.

  • “And, Father God, I thank You for the land You’ve already given me, the land I already dwell in, and I have good, safe pasture here and prosperity and rest on all sides. I proclaim that I expand the place of my tent. I expand my tent pegs. I expand my household and my land, according to Your Word, because I am in covenant with You – me and my household – and we dwell in the land and do good. We prosper, and we have safe pasture. And You, O Lord, O God, dwell in our land with us, and we receive our inheritance here and our blessings and our fruit and our abundant harvest all because of the good and faithful covenant promise, and You are a man of Your Word Father God, in Jesus’ mighty name!”
How To Pray For Loved Ones To Have More Faith

How To Pray For Loved Ones To Have More Faith

Sometimes you may have a lot of faith, but the ones around you don’t. They’re begging for help with their faith, but they don’t realize it. You can stand in the gap for them by praying the following prayer.

Pray Out Loud

  • “Father God, I thank You for growing my faith, and I thank You for giving everyone on the earth a mustard-seed-size faith. Right now, I’m standing in the gap for my loved one (s), _______, and I ask You to give them more faith, so much faith that it’s a mustard tree that’s strong and has birds landing on it. I ask for more faith for myself and my loved ones, Lord. Pour it out! I thank You, Father God, for answering and pouring faith out on us, in Jesus’ name. Amen.”

Scripture Reference

Matthew 13:31-32 (New International Version)

He told them another parable: “The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and planted in his field. 32 Though it is the smallest of all seeds, yet when it grows, it is the largest of garden plants and becomes a tree, so that the birds come and perch in its branches.”

Prayer To Put The Armor Of God and Armor Of Light Over Your Vehicles

Prayer To Put The Armor Of God and Armor Of Light Over Your Vehicles

On a recent LIVE broadcast of Life in the Faith Lane, a viewer commented that the windshield on her car kept getting hit and cracked by rocks.

I asked if she had anointed her vehicle and dedicated it to the Lord. I then pointed out that it’s like suiting up. We suit ourselves up in the armor of God everyday to make sure we’re protected from all the fiery darts of the wicked and all the fiery darts of the enemy, but we can also do the same for our vehicles.

Think about it, back in the day, chariots and horses had armor on them. Your vehicle is your chariot! You use it for the Lord. It’s got to be armored up just like you would a horse and chariot. It’s the same thing.

What does your windshield represent? Moving forward powerfully for the Lord. Having clear vision. The enemy’s going to try to distract that, so you have to put up your shield of faith and quench all the fiery darts of the wicked and declare that no weapons that are formed against you or your vehicle shall prosper. Enforce the blood of Jesus over your vehicle every day.

My red truck is anointed and it’s got the armor of God and the armor of light on it. It’s anointed everywhere it goes.

Get some anointing oil and pray over it using the prayer on my website: How To Pray Over And Apply Anointing Oil.

As you pray the prayer below, apply the anointing oil to the front bumper, the hood, a little on the windshield, the roof, all four doors, all four tires, the back bumper, and on the inside of the car to the dash and steering wheel. You can also take Communion and save some of the Communion juice and apply it as well.

Pray Out Loud

  • “Father, in the name of Jesus, I dedicate and consecrate this vehicle to You. I anoint it and place it in the blood of Jesus Christ bumper to bumper, door to door, from the top of the roof to the bottom of the tires, inside, and outside. I also apply the blood of Jesus, and I put the armor of God and the armor of light on my vehicle. My windshield has the shield of faith. No weapons coming against my vehicle shall prosper. Anything thrown or shot towards my vehicle will be deflected, and, Father God, I forbid any more rocks or anything else from hitting my vehicle ever again. I ask you to send Your angels all around my vehicle with fiery swords and shields to ride with me, to drive with me, to go before me, beside me, be my rear guard, and shield it from anything that would try to touch it, in Jesus Christ’s name. Thank you, Father God! Amen.”
